It was purchased by the Rhino Collective, the group owns several Savannah restaurants; like The Vault, Coco and Moss, and Flock to the Wok.

They released a statement saying that they weren’t the ones terminating the leases, and that happened when the building went bankrupt.

"The Rhino Collective LLC recently purchased the Broughton Street property from the bankruptcy estate of the property’s former owner, New Broughton Street, LLC. As part of the bankruptcy proceedings, the former owner requested authorization from the Court to sell the Broughton Street property free and clear of all encumbrances, including any leasehold interests. Huynh says he didn’t know the lease was terminated until May 24th via email, meaning their business would have to vacate downtown.

They have found a new location in Pooler that is currently being built, but in the meantime he’s worried for his employees.

“It's a hardship on them. You know, for me, I'm fine. But for all my employees, it’s impossible for them," said Huynh.
