Jenness Beach Surf Guide

Jenness Beach in New Hampshire is an exposed beach break that has reasonably consistent surf and can work at any time of the year. Works best in offshore winds from the west. Windswells and groundswells in equal measure and the ideal swell direction is from the east. The beach break provides left and right handers. Best around mid tide when the tide is rising. It very rarely gets crowded here. Hazards include rips and rocks.

    “Great surf. Especially after decent thunder storms. The only bad part about the beach itself is a very small parking lot and if you can't park there, you'll have to pay 15 dollars. Jenness also has flags to represent where you can and can't surf. Surfers and body boarders generally get much better surf than the swimmers area. Which is what I especially like about the beach”
